How You Can Participate

IDCO welcomes the participation of volunteers of any age in its projects in Palawan. Applicants should have completed at least secondary education and be highly motivated to work as social mobilizers and facilitators of processes that empower people to take their fate into their own hands.

What will you get in return?

First of all the satisfaction that comes from genuine service.

I don’t know what your destiny will be, but one thing I know: the only ones among you who will be really happy are those who will have sought and found how to serve.

Financial Contributions

In addition to service IDCO welcomes financial contributions to ongoing projects such as a fish processing center in Sitio Silangan, Barangay Tagburos, Puerto Princesa. The Center will be an important source of income for the wives of fishermen who live below the poverty line and are presently unable to meet the basic needs of their families.

The main building of the Center is already constructed. The Department of Science and Technology (DOST) will provide the required equipment. Additional funds are now needed to expand the Center to further enhance the quality and value added of the products.

Funds are also needed to extend the social mobilization and empowerment process to other villages.
